Return to a world where cooking isn't just an afterthought, or something we pay others to do. Often food evangelists forget cooking is a form of art a form of expression, and to make art great you have to do work. Most people don't want to cook. Everyone wants to eat delicious food. If people would cook for themselves, they would be a lot healthier, have more patients, and would want to do more for others; they will be a better person. When you get hungry people tend to snack; they go into the fridge or cupboard and pick up the fastest possible thing to eat. Instead they could be making a healthy meal for everyone; they could be doing something productive for other and for themselves. People who think of cooking as labor are right, heck eating is labor too, but we still do that for ourselves. Why not just give up food altogether that way you cut out 35% of your life's habits. If you get hungry, you aren't too lazy ignore the feeling to eat something, but you are too lazy to sit down and enjoy the meal. It's your job to feed yourself, and you don't think you are worth the time and effort to make a healthy meal, and sit down to eat it. It's tough, being hungry, healthy, and lazy at the same time. To be healthy you have to diet, exercise and eat the right foods, it's easy to know the right foods if you prepare it yourself. Being hungry cannot be passed by, but when you are lazy you don't care what you eat. Thing is if something has to be done, then the job has to be done, you can't just improvise or put it off till later, if you do the job isn't done the way you wanted it. Cooking your own food may be a sort of labor, but when it's done properly the outcome is something amazing, made by you.
