Executive summary:

This is a research report about Google’ B case, the report provides an analysis and evaluation of Google B case. In the report, I will discuss and analysis the issues of this case. It includes the definition and explanation of theories of Google’s success. And, the report also discusses Google’s hiring practices and job design principles. Then, it is an analysis of Google’s organizational management and leadership style.

Introduction:

Google is high-technical company focus on designing and developing search engine at first, it was created by Larry Page and Sergey Brin. When Google met some challenges while growing, Page and Brin realized a serious problem that is they were not as skilled at handling the organizational and operational issues of the business and at transforming the company into a profitable, revenue-generating enterprise. Under the circumstances, Eric Schmidt became the leader of Google. He focused on transforming Google into a sustainable business enterprise. Eric Schmidt is a professional company leader, he wants to have Google’s self business culture, and becomes to a self-sustaining enterprise. Google agree that brainpower is more important and valued than working experience. The company gives top ten reasons reveal with their culture for people who desiring to work at Google. Because of these, Google became a company that all employees have fun doing their job while they work hard.

Motivation is the forces within a person that affect his or her direction, intensity and persistence of voluntary behavior.
