Sex related offenses

 Sex related offences are comprehensive phenomena which take place in different social settings and circumstances. Offences related to sex includes a wide ranges of offences i.e. rape, incest, sexual violence against children and adultery which sometimes effect physical and mental health of victims. Its effect on mental state is as much serious as that of physical health. Apparently, sexual violation may lead to murder, suicide and acute depression and humiliation in victim’s social status which entirely disturbs the mental health and social well-being of victims.

Sex related offence are any crime that committed as a result of sexual act and it seriously involves mental, emotional and physical harm to victims.

Sex related offences is therefore defined as any form of illegal sexual  intercourse with another person, animal or any illegal act which are performed against the provision of law to obtain sexual gratification.

Classification of sex related offenses:

Sex related offenses are classified under the categories of natural, unnatural and sexual perversions.

1. Natural offenses:

 The basic components of nature is that every organ or part of body has particular function and is consistent to perform it in natural way. The same logic is used to classify sex related offenses and theses are listed as rape, incest and adultery.

1. Rape

Rape is derived from Latin word”rapio” which means “to seize”. Rape is defined as sexual intercourse with woman against her will or without her consent or with consent by threatening her to death or any other hurting stimuli.

1. Insect

On the other hand, Incest is defined as sexual intercourse by a man with someone closely related by blood.

1. Unnatural offenses

As per above natural logic, every form of sex is considered unnatural, unnatural offenses are stated as whoever, voluntarily sexual intercourses against the order of nature with any man, women or animal are labelled under the category of unnatural offenses.

1. Sadism  

For instance, sadism defined according to above mentioned explanation, anal intercourse between two males or two females or between male and female.

1. Sexual perversions

Thirdly sexual offenses are categorized as persistently indulged sexual acts, in which complete satisfaction is obtained without a sexual intercourse.

                                           Crime against children

Findings from analysis based on multiple researches provide vide spectrum of violent crime against children based on sex related offenses. Children are most vulnerable and innocent victims of crime. Unfortunately, there is no single classification of offenses in which offenses categorized under the category of offenses against children. In general offenses committed against children and crimes committed against children in which children are victims are considered crimes against children.
