Significance of Audience

Audience is one of the things that mostly motivates the business world and is essential for their success. Business, itself, is involved in most of the things we encounter in our daily routines. Communicating in the business world is essential for businesses to function correctly. What is most important in business communication, is the audience because it is all about persuading or selling a product or service to someone. The purpose of business communication is to change or present ideas into the business world in a way people will agree with it. "Understanding your audience is fundamental to the success of any message. You need to adapt your message to fit the audience's goals, interests and needs."- Kitty O. Locker and Stephen Kyo Kaczmark.

The most important thing in communication is for your audience to understand the message clearly so it is important to write or communicate in a way all of the audiences can understand. For someone to give the message they want correctly, the speaker has to be able to understand the audience.

Questions that help me figure out what my audience is, are the most important things I learned. By learning who the audience is, there is a higher chance I can find a way to connect with my audience and create a relationship with them in order for them to trust me. There are different ways of communicating in business: memo, formal, and casual.
