Spontaneous: The ups and downs
I have always been a fan of monkeys. My boyfriend noticed this from the first few weeks he meet me. He has always said how spontaneous I have been and now is saying that maybe because monkeys are spontaneous that I get it from liking them so much. As it is very true that I am extremely spontaneous.
I do so many different random things during the day that even I can’t keep track of them all the time. I have a very small, very hyper dog, who keeps me always moving. She is a small pug and no matter how much you do with her, she always seems to have these never ending amounts of energy. I can never really sit still unless I am sleeping, which is the cause of me always wanting to be doing something.
Whenever I go out shopping I tend to have problems buying clothing. If I see something that I want I’ll start heading towards it and it will never fail that I will see something else and completely forget about what I was going for in the first place. A usual shopping trip for me will either end with me buying more clothing than I will need or getting absolutely nothing at all. This is why I tend to try not to have too many shopping adventures.
One setback to being so spontaneous is that I rarely get any of my projects done. Many would rather call me a procrastinator but I see myself as a very spontaneous person. I still attempt to get everything done but just don’t see the fun in it and leave it for a little while. While I’m trying to start projects, many of those procrastinators are still waiting to even think of starting.
Being spontaneous has a few discernable advantages to it. During the summer I tend to get outside more often because I would rather be moving around out there, than sitting inside doing nothing. Also I feel more adventurous than I would think the normal person would, as I feel I get out and do more than they would.
