Steps of the School

Some people believe going to college is one of the most important things one can accomplish in their lifetime, they believe going to college will open up many opportunities in life. The more education you have completed the better your chances are at being financially secure in your life. Before you attend college, there are three major stepping stones you must complete in order to get gain financial security. These steps are, Elementary School, Middle School and High School. Graduating from each of these will guide you to choosing a career in the field you most enjoy and getting into college. As a child you don’t really think about going to college but as you begin to grow older and attend school your thirst for education will open up and soon this becomes a step closer to making your dreams come true. Dreams that only you have the power to make reality and become whoever or whatever you want to in life. College will open up many doors and opportunities.
The first step is Elementary School. This is the foundation of your education. This is where you learn all the basics of general subjects. For example how to add, subtract, multiply and divide. Where you learn how to read and compose a simple sentence. Where you learn to read a book and then write a book report. They teach you about Science and how electricity functions. The wonders of living and non- living things. This is also where you begin to learn
about the hundreds of different careers that exist in the world. In Elementary School you begin to play make believe and go on interesting field trips and explore all the endless possibilities one can accomplish if you just stay in school. This is usually not where most children decide what they want to be when they grow up but this is definitely where it begins.
The second step is Middle School, this is called the transition stage of your education. School becomes a little bit longer and you typically have six classes a day. Subjects generally become more detailed and in depth, the basics are now over. Since you now have more classes you are given more homework, this means more responsibility. One also begins to socialize a lot more with your peers. Children learn what peer pressure is all about. Drugs, sex, gangs and alcohol can become a role in your life as well as skipping school not applying yourself 100% anymore. It is your responsibility as a student to stay focused and keep a straight and narrow path making education your priority. As you get closer to graduation you will start to feel as if you can make more of your own decisions. Graduating Middle School is a step closer to college.
