This day and time are defined by the obsession and advancements in technology, especially when it comes to our younger generation in particular. Technology has played a key factor in most of our daily lives, social media in general. Among all of the uprising social networks out there Twitter is the most overwhelming social networking site out there, all with the main purpose of sharing or viewing personal information and experiences, interact with others worldwide on social or high ranking professional grounds. There are several causes and effects associated with this social site, making it a topic of debate whether it is really good as they say. Communicating with other on a worldwide scale, expressing their comments sometimes good or bad, helping them resee news in a whole new perspective, and making more people perspicacious.
We as young people use Twitter as a means of communication and has made communicating with each other even easier. We tend to stay linked to the world and available at all times through a simple email, text message or post a message. Because we have most of our conversations through an electronic interface, face to face interaction is really diminishing. More people are isolating themselves and losing their interest to even interact with real people in real life. It's becoming easier to go through life with a less personal faceoff and conversations. This has become a problem because we are social freaks and as human beings, that face to face, in person interaction is actually necessary.
You’re able to post pictures and messages to inform your friends, followers, etc., you can also express your opinion on what others post as well. Usually when it comes to adults they post pictures and statuses about their job, family, friends, and any moments in their lives, as for the younger generation will take anything social media a lot more serious. They spend time posting about every moment of their lives, putting it out there for the world to see, sometimes without them realizing it. Teenagers on social media especially Twitter are always trying to one-up one another.
