War. Conflict such as this is always an attempt at either altering psychology or just asserting dominance, even equality between two or more groups. Amongst us humans, a war under the pretext that their actions are mainly defensive, when intentions were looked at, their actions closely resemble an unprovoked or unwarranted aggression…but winning a war with smarts and great tactical moves is one of Bonaparte's specialties. The Napoleonic Wars, as some referred to it as, were a series of conflicts declared against Napoleon's French Empire. Napoleon Bonaparte has to be one of the most remembered generals in French history and above all, unequaled in war - he had not lost a battle until after his first exile.
Napoleon Bonaparte was born in born in Ajaccio, Corsica August 15, 1769 through his military exploits and his ruthless efficiency, Napoleon rose from obscurity to become Napoleon I, Empereur des Francais (Emperor of the French). He was the second child of eleven, of which only eight had survived early childhood. "Napoleon was a very small, fiery, hot tempered youth. Though small, he often beat his brother when fighting" , Napoleon's father, Carlo Bonaparte, was "an anti-French lawyer" Prior to marrying Napoleon's mother, Leticia, Carlo fought for the Corsican Independence Movement, Napoleon decided on a military career when he was a child, January 1779 with his older brother Joseph to the College of Autun in the duchy of Burgundy. In May of the same year, he was transferred to the more fashionable College of Brienne, another military school, while his brother remained at Autun. He was also mocked and ridiculed for his Italian accent and abstinence from rowdy public gatherings. While his peers threw away their lives at parties, Napoleon remained buried in volumes of mathematics and philosophy. .
