Why is it so important to become a Marine?
Why is it so important for me to be a Marine is a popular question that mostly every one asks me. The reason is because I want to help people in need and I feel that the Marines will give me that opportunity. I also believe that they will give me that extra push that I always needed. It will be the best for me if I went I just don’t to be in Schenectady anymore. I really want to protect the United States of America.
If we don’t have people protecting the United States then we wouldn’t be the best of them all and we would be speaking another language. We would have a different way of seeing the world then we do now. We possibly would be an all communist World and Germans would be our all time leaders also with the Japanese. The United States is the place I grew up and love and if anything happened to it then I don’t think we would have anything to live for anymore.
I also feel it is important to be a Marine is because my grandparents were both marines and I feel if I join I will feel what they felt and hopefully feel closer to them. The marines is probably the best choice I made in a long time. It has been a long time wish for me to actually become a marine and make my name heard and become someone that mostly everyone will look up to. I like to be a role model and have people count on me to keep them safe. I believe if it wasn’t for the military we would have been taken over or been speaking French or German or even British. I look up to the marines and I believe they are a role model to me. I also believe that when I become a marine that I will make a difference in my life and make it so I’m not an outcast anymore and be more of a leader.
