It is know to the world that Christopher Columbus discovered America, but before he came here Native Americans had been living in the Americas for a very long time. The Native Americans might feel back stab because they were here fist and they think the Europeans took over their land and mistreated them after they helped them. In this essay I'm going to explain the point of view of the Spanish when they came to the Americas.

First of all when Christopher Columbus arrived in the Caribbean he thought he had reached India that's why he called them the west Indies, but it turned out that he had discovered a new land that nobody in the part of the world knew that existed. I think one of the conflicts is that Native Americas say that Columbus dint discovered America but that they did. They did but he made it known to the rest of the world ware a larger population lived so they might have be a misunderstanding of the word discovered. Christopher Columbus discovered America to the other side of the world.

The land didn't really belong to the Native Americas because they never claimed it to be theirs. When the Spanish came to their land the Native Americans dint even know if they were actually human. Europeans brought their culture to the Americas helping them learn new things and that way started to create pueblos and missions eventually colonizing the Americas. They did fight over the land but it wasn't something Native Americas weren't use to anyways they fought over land with people of their own race.

Some people might also think that the Spanish won the battle unfairly because they had more advance weapons than Native Americans but preparing an arrow might actually be faster than preparing a shotgun. Native Americans could have learned a lot from the Spanish, but they wasted their opportunity and decided to create a war against them, which caused a lot of lives to be lost.
