It is hard to imagine just a few decades ago the concept of using radios to assist police was considered futuristic. In today's world the use of technology, including onboard computers in police vehicles, wireless communication devices, and the Internet, are commonplace.

After reading about the newest technologies used in law enforcement in your textbook, you will select two types of these new technologies.

Using the Internet, research and discuss in an essay the two types you selected.

Analyze the effectiveness or potential effectiveness of these new technologies. Are there any drawbacks to their use?

The paper should be 2-3 pages double-spaced and in APA format [citations and references].
