Governance
Another way that Japan benefited from the influence of China was how they helped to form and organize a form of government. (Stearns, 2001), "The method of organization of the Imperial Court, a significant element of ancient Chinese culture, was also adopted by the Japanese," (para. 2). The fact that Japan adopted the Chinese system of government showed a lot of cooperation between these two nations. As they adopted this form of government, they also used ideas on how to irrigate their fields to knowing how to effectively plan out their system of roads.
Religion
In Japan the two main religions are Shinto and Buddhism. Shinto the believed that superpowers occupy all components of nature rather than one God. They believed that there were several God; and example of this is the sun worship. Sites have been built to into shrines and devoted to sun worship. Each of the built sites are connected to a divinity known as kami or Gods. The most important of the Gods is Ameterasu; and all other Gods descend from Izanagi and his consort Izanami (Benton & DiYanni, 2008). Buddhism was brought to Japan from China. Buddhism is a religious response to Hinduism with the belief of Buddha.
Language
According to Japan-101.com (2011), "The Japanese language; Nihongo is a spoken and written language used mainly in Japan " (para.1). Another way that China influenced cultures is the Japanese language this is the official language that is spoken and written. There was a time when Japan did not have a form of written communication or recording (Japan-101.com, 2011).
