In this listed period of time. England witnessed two kinds of government, the limited monarchy and the constitutional government.
After the Glorious Revolution a new type of monarchy was created. The limited monarchy demands the king, who still has power, to obey the constitutional body. The king must obey certain rules and laws. This period of time influenced a lot of political thinkers, such as John Locke.
In the century that followed, three political institutions arose in Britain that were a pert of the constitutional government, that is a government whose power is defined and limited by law. The three political institutions were; political parties, the cabinet and the office of the prime minister.
This new evolution of governments was an act of restoration, knowing that Britain saw a lot of dark times. This evolution was taking place by the well of the people in order to have their freedom. And its influence turned the society into a more sophisticated and democratic one.
