1985: Tosses a chair onto the Assembly Hall floor while Purdue’s Steve Reid attempts to shoot technical throws. He then suspended for 1 game.
1993: Knights pulls son Pat, a junior guard, from a game and appears to kick him in the leg
1995: NCAA reprimands Knights and fines Indiana for US$30,000 for his outburst toward NCAA tournament media liaison
2000: Sport Illustrated aired findings about Coach Knight’s verbal and physical abuse to IU’s player (incl. grabbing player Neil Reed by the neck)
