A product that is not morally responsible are cigarretts. According to The American Cancer Society cigarette smoking is the major single cause of cancer mortality in the United States. In fact, tobacco use is responsible for nearly 1 in 5 deaths in the United States. In the article it states that smoking and tobacco use are aquired behaviors--activities people choose to do. Therefore, making smoking the most preventable cause of death in our society. But how do we prevent people from smoking? Do we have the right to tell others what to consume? After all, it's legal to smoke, right? I think we should have the right to make that choice. However, not in this case. Not at the risk of causing harm to others. Non-smokers who breathe in second-hand smoke also take in nicotine and other toxic chemicals that cause cancer. I think it's immoral to consume a product that can cause harm to others.
