To start off critical thinking is clear thinking. In critical thinking you can apply, analyze, and evaluate your thoughts, so you can make better decisions. On the other hand ethics is the morals and values that an individual has. Ethics symbolizes and represents each other separately. It shows who we are as a person and what we stand for. The difference between the both is that critical thinking lets you break down an idea you have and separate it and analyze that idea and make it better. Ethics on the other hand makes you the person that you are and what you stand for and depending on the type of ethics you have it can affect your critical thinking in a positive way or a negative way.

When it comes to critical thinking the first think you need to have is knowledge. Knowledge is important because it lets you know how much you know and how much you need to learn. After that you need comprehension and its use to see if you understand. Then you need application, which lets you apply your information to what you are doing. That’s when analysis comes in. You need to check and examine everything you have so far to see if you are missing something. So after you analyze everything, you have to use synthesis. This is your knowledge and what you know, blends with your feelings and your emotions and then come together to create and idea. At the end comes evaluation, were you make a judgment of everything you did and to see if it right or not.

My blind spot is believed that motive justifies method. In my understanding to me, this means that not just because I think it is right it means that is correct. That before I make a decision based on my motive that I should take a minute to think things through and make a correct choice or decision.

Well I believe that if we have good moral and ethics it can helps us be better people. Say that you are in a difficult situation with a friend and say you were never taught to listen, to help or give assistance to someone and a friend comes to ask for help from you; if you have good ethics you are going to try your best to help that friend. But if you don’t, you are not going to care and you are not going to try or do anything to help out the person in need of help. Ethics can help you a lot professionally or they can destroy you as well. Say you a have job and you don’t have good ethics and you don’t care about the rules your jobs has set for you to follow, and you don’t follow those rules you are probably going to get fired. So having good ethics professionally and socially can benefit you a lot and make your life easier, and if you choose not to have good ethics, you might have a rough path.
