As I sit here and think about my guiding statement, a few things come to mind. Determination, dedication, strive, security within, strength and focus; just a few things that speaks when I reflect on it. "You only live once (YOLO)! Regret nothing and embrace everything" is my fuel. I am 31 years old and set in my mindset. YOLO is an internal motivator that reigns externally with me as well. I hold this deeply because it speaks me. I only have one life to live, only have one chance to make life worth living and only one chance to raise my children right, so I am going to push it, live it and mature it like it’s my last because I only have it once. The old saying goes "Your life is a once in a lifetime experience..." and I believe deeply in just that.
"Regret nothing and embrace everything" says it all. The mistakes that we make in life are not mis-takes but merely learning experiences. When you accept life as that, you will release yourself from regret, which only exudes that you have embraced your endeavor. This is the guide I hold true to my heart, the attitude I exercise and the strength I embrace. To me nothing is more affordable than just that.

2. If your class paper or project receives a failing grade from your professor.
I would have to embrace the outcome of my work because it did not meet the standard. I do not accept failure so 100% will always be exercised.
