I'm currently working on my research paper (a thesis-like paper perhaps! ahh!). As I browse the net, for my review of related literature...my mouse take me on this page. Actually I don't know what to write, since I'm just an amateur teacher, frustrated writer, and a luosy M.A. student. I have to finish this paper in a week, so I badly need journals and write ups about Code-switching. I'll try to find out if code-switching (as communication and teaching strategy) in classroom setting is effective.
Actually I'm an avid practitioner of code switching in the classroom, as teacher of English It is actually hard for me to explain and to let them (my students) understand the topic in the second language, because of their poor comprehension. I seek to find out the reasons why do students have to code switch and why do teachers tend to code switch. I would like to determine the advantages and also the disadvantages of code switching.
I would like to solicit ideas from anyone here to contribute to this paper, by simply replying and give me some informations that you find interesting about code switching.
You see how lousy my write ups are . . . boom! please bear with me, I'm just a persistent student before, not so bright but industrious enough to surpass the challenges of High school and College life, It may be roller coaster ride, but I learned alot! That's why, again, I'm studying right now, to further elevate my English communication skills and strengthen my teaching abilities. Again, I'm not sooo good student before huh! so don't expect me to write a very good essay!.
hihihi! I hope you could help me with this one! more of code-switching in the classroom!
You'll be of great help to me! thank you so much! ^_^
