The Principles of Physical Activity

Last meeting’s discussion was really educational because it taught me a lot of new things in terms of physical fitness. I have learned the principles of physical activity and I realized that I should personally apply them when I start working out. One principle which struck me is the principle of progression. I have this attitude that I always want to instantly see the final output of what I’m doing and that can’t be if we are talking about fitness. In physical activities, I have to keep in mind that I can’t do things in “major bursts” because doing so will just make me feel sore at the end of the day.
In line with fitness and physical activity, I will be focusing on my current level of physical activity. I can say that I am somewhere between the first and second level of the physical activity pyramid. On the first level, I always allocate time for walking/climbing up stairs for 30 minutes or more everyday. However, I am engaging on the activities in the second level less often to what I do on the first one. I am playing sports like badminton and volleyball and I also do some jogging and biking but not on a regular basis. I mean I do them just whenever I want or whenever I am available.
On the other hand, I am not limiting myself to my current level of physical activity. I am really planning to try the activities in level 2 and 3 since I think I still have time to try. I can go up to levels 2 and 3, having enough time and resources to do such. Of course, I need some necessary sports equipment like balls, bike, and the like. Given those things, I would be very willing to try the activities to further improve myself in terms of physical fitness.
The discussions we are having have been inspiring me to try different physical activities and I just realized recently that I can engage into these activities even without those equipment I see in the gym. I have this misconception before that I can just be fit if
