What do you feel is the most important quality a leader must possess? Why?

For me, the most important quality a leader must possess is the ability to inspire. He/she must be able to paint a vision of the future that motivates others to join and remain loyal. When I think of a good leader, I think of Steve Jobs. Not only was he inspirational, he knew how to connect people to his products. Jobs’ products were not new or different, but he managed to persuade consumers why the iPod or iPad will transform their lives, leaving some mystery behind for later products.

If you had unlimited resources, how would you make a positive contribution in your community?

First, I would want everyone in the world to have access to clean water. I am lucky enough to be living in a country where I don’t have to worry everyday about whether or not I will survive tomorrow, but some people in third world countries are not fortunate enough to even have access to clean water. Ill health from the lack of sanitation results in millions of death each year and this one small change can save so many lives. Poverty is a primary cause of hunger, and I would like to produce enough food for the whole world to eat. Last but not least, I believe in the importance of an education. Like Dr. Seuss once said, “The more that you read, the more things you will know. The more that you learn, the more places you'll go.” By building more schools in rural villages and providing free education, children will know that there is hope and that they can get out of poverty.
