  • What do you think are the most important traits for a successful business leader? Which do you possess? Are there important traits not discussed in our text that you think are significant for good leadership? What are they?

Tim did indeed develop into an effective leader. He recognized his strengths and weaknesses and ensured that he was educated and build upon it. I do not think that Tim was born an effective leader; however, it was his childhood experiences that help formed his abilities. When he was working at Douglass Community Association, he recognized that in order to be an effective leader, he needs to enhance his skills for effective communication. He was an abandoned child that was adopted by a loving and religious family, which help him form core positive values in the formation of his leadership skills. With his position at the bank, he recognized that his strongest trait was charisma and determination. Due to his charisma and determination, he was able to influence people to start paying their debt. The main aspects of Tim’s leadership that suit my personality and style is determination and integrity because I am task oriented and believe to get the job completed effectively; however, I believe to be ethical and truthful in accomplishing a set of goals.
