Student can only memorize it directly without understanding the meaning of the concept if they do not study well in school. According to the level of processing, it states that if information was processed deeply, such as analyze the concepts with examples and interpretation, the retrieval process then can be matched with the encoding process. For example, many English tutors they simply teach many vocabularies and passages that they think are relevant during lesson. However, these vocabularies have only the Chinese meanings and without further explain how to use it and examples. Therefore students cannot enhance their memory.
