Racial profiling is supported on the unacceptable statement that a certain race or ethnicity connects in bad behavior over race or ethnicities. Randall Kennedy says that the price of racial profiling exacerbates racism in society and leads to the abuse and harassment of racial minorities. With that being said racial profiling falls under unethical and dissipated principles. “Racial profiling in real meaning is an effect of beliefs, traditions, and stigma that has been ongoing and passed down to each generation.
Racial profiling is the method that law enforcement officers have been known to make a stop on a vehicle or stopping someone due to the color of their skin and a transitory suspicion that the individual is engaging in criminal activities. In today’s society it seems more prevalent but it has been occurring since there was slavery going on. It is more noticeable nowadays because of the technology and electronic media that makes it known to the U S that it’s more of a situation now then in the past.
An example of racial profiling would be in certain states or cities taxi drivers will not go into particular area because of the reputation of it tendency to crime activities. This is for the safety of the taxi drivers. There are more cities that have been using this precaution due to the number of crimes that have been brought to the taxi drivers. It not only taxi drivers that are using this type of profiling. There are other types of jobs such a pizza drivers and etc who are using precaution due to their safety.
First I would say that society have shaped many individuals into the person they are today. Individuals are insecure with themselves and the way things are going in their lives. They are unhappy within their selves and or could be insure with who they have become.
