Staff Members at Camp Little Gian

Specific Job Functions:

1. Provide assistance, supervision, and guidance to campers in assigned cabin living groups, and throughout the general camp community.

2. Assist campers with their daily living routine as appropriate to their condition.

3. Collaborate with other staff members to create, present, and supervise camp programs, events, themes, and opening day activities.

4. Assist medical and administrative camp staff in observation, care, and reporting of campers' medical conditions, health concerns, and specific ongoing or emergency needs. Familiarize self with individual camper medical chart and health information.

5. Attend and participate in all regular and special staff meetings.

6. Supervise and maintain cleanliness of assigned cabins and general campgrounds.

7. Support activity specialists in programs through direct involvement and camper supervision during programs.

8. Perform cabin watch duties as assigned.

9. Complete camper, staff, incident, and injury reports and evaluations as necessary.

10. Communicate to Head Counselor and/or Camp Director cabin and camper needs, problems, and other pertinent information.

11. Serves as an honorable representative of Camp Little Giant and Touch of Nature both within the camp setting and in the community-at-large.

12. Uphold and enforce health and safety regulations and procedures.

13. Observe, support, and abide by the policies of Camp Little Giant and Touch of Nature as detailed in the Camp Manual.
