The Old Testament!

1. The serpent was someone who had evil thoughts and wanted people to disobey God in a way. When he had seen Eve walking in the garden, he had asked her if she could eat from any tree in the garden. Eve said she that she could eat from any tree except from this specific tree that was in the middle of the garden. The serpent told her that she was aloud to eat it and that if she did eat it, that she would look just like God, and that is why God does not want you to eat it. "For God knows that when you eat of it, your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil." (Fall of Man, 4) She decided to eat it due to it looked desirable, and very pleasing to the eye. Once she had eaten it, her eyes had opened as well as her husbands due to he had eaten it as well.

"Let us make man in our image, in our likeness, and let them rule over the fish of the sea and the birds of the air, over the livestock, over all the earth, and over all the creatures that move along the ground." (The Beginning, 24) Everything that has the breath of life in it is useful for eating. God produced everything for man through nature. Whether it is water, vegetation, and even creatures. Everything God had created was for man to rule in way. Symbolizing God in his own image.

God punished her by telling her that, "I will greatly increase your pains in childbearing; with pain you will give birth to children. Your desire will be for your husband, and he will rule over you." (The Fall of Man, 16) When you think about it, giving birth to a child, it his painful. A wife should have desires for her husband. God felt as if those were her punishments. Now Adam had eaten from the tree as well because Eve had given him some to try. His punishment was said that he was pretty much cursed. That his life will be suffered until he dies. Listening to God is number one. Don't let anyone discourage you from that. God simply made us, and we should do anything in our power to make him happy.

4. Abel and Cain were brothers. They both brought fruits to God as an offering. God decided to choose Abel's fruits instead of Cain's. Abel simply brought the best of his flocks and Cain in a way became jealous. He was so upset
