Many events in a person's life can affect them in different ways. When I try to look back on an event that I feel has changed something inside of me I have to bring up the major car accident I was in last December. I truly and honestly feel that this accident changed me in a way that I should be truly thankful for my life. I was involved in a single car accident that, to witnesses, was deadly. People believed that a person died in the crash I was in because of the supposed severity. When I stepped out of my vehicle unscathed I was a walking miracle. My car was stuck in a ditch with no dents just a few scratches but wedged in a bush. The paramedics that arrived along with the fire trucks, highway patrol, police, and tow truck that shut down the whole northbound Hutchinson parkway, said that it was a miracle I was not hurt. I dodged a light pole and a huge tree that has been the center of many accidents on the highway. The paramedics said that I must have a guardian angel because only if I were a professional driver could I have done what I did to miss those objects. When I saw my tracks I knew deep inside that someone was with me in that car that saved my life because a person had died in that very same spot a week prior to my accident. So when I look back on things I value my life and know that me living is a blessing which I must cherish.
