To further prove that Galileo is not a madman but a genius, a look is needed at Galileo Galilei’s book “The Starry messenger” and other writings as well to improve upon the earlier paper about Galileo Galilei. In it shall prove once again that the Galileo’s methods of proving his theories are in fact accurate. Galileo also pleads with the Church not to hide this truth and that hiding it will most likely harm the church. If this would happen the real heretics will draw followers away. Therefore, the Church must accept that Galileo is a scientist and that he is not a heretic and that hiding his discoveries will harm the Church and not help it.

To point out once again in a previous paper, Eratosthenes had discovered that the sunlight from Syene is different than the sunlight from Alexandria (96). This being said, the view of the church establishes that the Earth does not move on an axis. The sunlight in Syene, when looking down a well, is perfectly perpendicular, however, in Alexandria the sun light is seven degrees (96). Sense the sun light at Alexandria does not match with Syene and insteady is seven degrees at Alexandria and perfectly direct in Syene. Thus the planet would need to be at an axis. If the planet was not on its axis then the sun would be perfectly perpendicular at such a short distant.

When man looks up at the stars, he can see a multitude depending on light affixation. Looking up at the stars, man simply sees very few stars. Galileo Galilei crafted a telescope of his own hands, even the lenses were crafted by him, and with the use of said telescope he mapped out Orion. In his map, he points out that the one where the telescope was not used shows that Orion is visible, no other stars are shown. He then mapped out the stars using the telescope that he made. The map shows that there are even more stars around Orion and that the stars were many. With his telescope he was able to see the stars more clearly, showing that Galileo’s invention is not merely a toy but a scientific tool used to view the stars. The same scientific tool used to map Orion’s belt. If Galileo was a babbling, moronic, heretic then he would not have made this discovery and his telescope would not have been invented.

Not everything in the universe revolves around the Earth. Galileo has observed that Jupiter has what Galileo puts it as “Satelites” (105) he shows that these satelites revolve around Jupiter from one night to another. The moons revolve around Jupiter like the Earth’s moon. If everything revolves around the earth, why are Jupiters moons not rotating around Earth. The answer: That the Earth is not the center of the universe and does not have a gravitational force that could bring the moons of Jupiter to orbit the Earth, sense we see that Jupiter has its own orbit.

The Catholic church wishes to keep Galileo Galilei’s discover a secret but as he (Galileo)
