The Effects of Nutrient Deficiencies on Plants

Hypothesis:

If plants are deprived of necessary nutrients, then the plant will wither and die.

Prediction:

Plants grown in cup “A,” which contains all the necessary nutrients, will grow and develop normally. Plants grown in cup “B,” which is deficient in potassium (-K), will develop abnormal. Plants grown in cup “C,” which has an unknown deficiency, will also develop abnormally.

Results:

Those plants that were placed in nutrient deficient cups were unable to survive, and died after the second week of measurements. However, the following tables and graphs show the data our group was able to collect.
