A report on the people of Portsmouth’s satisfaction of the London 2012 Olympic Games.
Introduction
The Olympics began in Greece more than 2 700 years ago, it held every four years in a different city. The Olympic Games is the the most important event all over the world. What do the Olympic Games mean to people? What benefits can people get from the Olympic Games? With the holding of London 2012 Olympic Games, how people felt about it? In this article is a report on people of Portsmouth satisfaction of the London 2012 Olympic Games. The research was focus on people of Portsmouth feeling about London 2012 Olympic Games. The information was collected by questionnaire and internet.
Method
There was both primary and secondary data during this research. In the primary source, there were many data collection methods to collected data from the research included and so on. For this research, the main method for collected primary data involved using a questionnaire, because questionnaire can provide real information, useful data and easy to settle and analysis. It took one week to design questions, through discussion with partner and search information from internet there were nine questions designed. There have two main types of questionnaire which choice questions and independent answer questions. The questionnaire was based on these five main questions as follows:
1. Do you feel proud to be British with the London 2012 Olympic Games?
2. How will you watch the London 2012 Olympic Games?
3. Is the London 2012 Olympic Games attracting more people to visit Portsmouth?
4. How will you feel about the London 2012 Olympic Games being in London?
