Background
Many workers are more concerned about being fairly and reasonably compensated while enjoying a positive work environment and a sense of satisfaction from getting their job done. (Herman 1994). Against this background, we the researchers of this study, seek to review a Construction and Engineering company, J.H.Dunstan and Associates’ approach to managing compensation in relation to recruitments and selection, performance management, rewards and recognition, transfers, reassignment and redeployment. The paper also focuses on the main compensation challenges faced by the organization and what approach it takes to deal with these challenges.
