Intro
Today our topic is ‘the impact of artificial intelligence on everyday life’, so We team 3 has searched about How the AI influence the 4 industry areas. First we focus on what are the influence of manufacturing industry, then professional jobs, we also will see the efficiency of the wholesale and retail industry, and finally we are going to talk about the transport industry.
Manufacturing industry
During the Industrial Revolution, the factories were automated, and mechanization is in progress. Many positions in the factories are replaced by machines. These machines are programmed to "think" like a human and mimic the way a person acts. So people were fired. Those who lost their jobs at that time thought that it was because of the replacement of the machines. They went to the factories to break down and destroy the equipment. This movement is called the Luddite Movement. Now people were forced to adapt to the technological advances, and as you can see, almost all the factories are automated with the apparatuses and remain the employees less than before.
With the development of AI, machines can now process various type of information subjectively and make judgments accordingly. As the o industry does not need workers, the organization is likely downsizing their employees. A man-power only needs few managers to making the final decisions, and the rest can all be replaced by machines. Maybe in the future there will be manufacture companies operated by only one director. The organization may then become more centralized.
However, back to today, even those managers could be laid off or employees could be replaced by machines, there are still some positions or tasks remained that only can be processed by human. Take the toy factory as an example. If there is an error when toys being produced, the production will be stopped and the managers must go and have a check and make sure that progress are proper functioning. But as AI develops, the machines might have the “abilities” to fix this situation by itself.
Professional jobs

These are jobs that much of whose works are likely to be replaced by AI as the artificial intelligence develops in the future. Interestingly, jobs that are expected to be easily replaced due to artificial intelligence include more professional jobs than ordinary jobs. This is because artificial intelligence can acquire and apply the knowledge that human beings have to spend a lot of time and effort to prepare their expertise in a very short time.
Typical occupations that are expected to meet huge change in the next 10 to 20 years are accountants, tax accountants, lawyers, and doctors. Now people have to pay a lot for these professional services. This is because the providers of this service have to study so much and there are few providers of these services. But if AI is activated, people are more likely to enjoy these services at a cheaper price. Machines will acquire a lot of information in a very short time than the human brain. In addition, machines can be mass-produced and services supplied by machines can be supplied in large quantities. Many people might say that machines are not reliable enough to judge professional work. But as technology advances these days, machines seem to provide more reliable information than humans.
