Obama has been leading the US battle against climate change that has not been enough although Obama made heroic efforts. In 2008 he ran on a strong alternative energy platform that he has managed to keep even with strong Republican opposition such as the Senate majority leader, Mitch McConnell, a Republican from coal-producing Kentucky. In my perspective, the two case: “Move to fight..” and “Obama takes..” present the same type of dilemma. Both are very familiar due to the fact that the comments in question were made by two powerful individuals in America or further next human beings generations; the proper analysis of this issue is to examine the downside of following each side's position on global warming.
First if all, in my perspective, with an analysis of the influence issue of Climate is going to be the "gay marriage" of the twenty-teens. It means that we will see public opinion swaying from "no big deal" to "freak out" as the facts pile up to drown out the anti-science propaganda being spewed by the likes of Mc Connel and the Kochs. As we can see in the article, “Move to right..”, once again America is called upon to save the world from itself. Will those in China, Russia and India follow Obama's leadership? As a relatively minor contributor to CO2 emissions, the US is willing to make major sacrifices to its standard of living for the benefit of the World. It would be only through the aggressive adoption of alternative energy, such as clean coal and natural gas, can climate change be reversed, for instances, solar and wind can make some small contribution but they are highly inefficient and would require massive subsidies that are unaffordable in the age of austerity now. There is no doubt Mr. Obama's initiative can be a cornerstone not only for the US but for rest of the World provided these are really translated into action.
On the other hand, Mitch McConnell accused President Obama of being tired of working with the Congress. Of course Obama is tired of dead ends from a do nothing and obstructionist entity whose Republican leaders set out from the 2008 election to make his Presidency a failure! For 2008 the contribution of US towards CO2 emissions was 19 % after China (23%). Some deniers argue that it would be more challenging and difficult task for the people is change of life style and attitude and that too for the effluent and well to do classes having access to all kind of resources at their fingertips at any time and any cost. To my mind, those deniers just to keep polluting by ignoring disguised as reason with all kinds of excuses. In Germany, with far more clouds and much less sunlight than most of the populated areas of our lower 48 is well on the way to powering its society with renewable sources of electricity. The barriers to wind, photo-voltaic, geo-thermal and other forms of renewable power are political, not technical or economic. As for subsidies
