Instructions:
The group are expected to select an Islamic bank and/or another Islamic bank or Conventional bank for comparative analysis purpose. Research the Bank, its background information, country of incorporation and operation, converted, fully fledged, subsidiary or window, and other related information.
Through the financial report, preferably the latest, the group is to look at the reported information then firstly compare the information with the other selected Islamic/conventional bank, comment on the differences on the disclosures and why such occurs.
Secondly, on its own, critically analyse the layout, format and information disclose against what you have learn in class so far, paying attention to the respective journals reviewed by your colleagues.
Ensure the following:
- Introduction of the Islamic Bank reviewed are included.
- Sound basis for the critical review and proper citation (if any).
- A minimum of 10 pages (including tables, figures and appendices). Maximum page count of 15 pages.
Submit your written and printed report by 17th April 2017.
