Moreover, there are two major components of the processes of construction procurement during construction stage which are construction and risk allocation. The construction can be separate into two sort which is management of construction and construction production.
First of all, construction management is the practicing of ensuring the construction activity are undertaken effectively and efficiently. It is the managements of the physical construction process within the built environment, administration, and management of resources. The aims of the construction management is to remove the difficulties in construction projects in order to make the project easier to cope. The processes used by a construction manager are in line with the project stage. At the design stage, during the project procurement process, the construction manager has to plan the project. After winning the bid and signing the agreement with the client, the construction manager is involved in detailed planning and controlling the construction work. However, there are some constraints might lead to inefficient and ineffective contract management which are unclear scope of work, completion delay, very few vendors that can perform the work, high cost project, and the project has high risk of failure.
Besides, construction production is the process of shifting the inputs resources into output or products. It plays a key role in the success of construction project. The production in construction shows the output and activity of the construction sector. The inputs consists of labour, financial, materials, and physical into the process. First thing, main contractor will be selected through tendering process, then the main contractor is responsible to grab sub-contractor to carry out the construction work with materials, plant, and equipment. Timely productivity monitoring can be handle by construction engineers with sight information so that if there any work which is not followed the stage of the construction will immediately be control.
