The lecture given by Ms. Claudia Chow was really beneficial and significative for our undergraduates making a better and practical career plan. Meanwhile, we can prepare ourselves more sufficiently in the interviews and other connected situation. The confident and elegant temperament of her also leaves a deep impression on me. The ten points, including communication, creativity and entrepreneurship that she mentioned in the lecture are all extremely important in our career life. However, I think the most significant characteristic is adding value which I regard as the center of all the others. As an applicant, the most meaningful question I would consider about is how to add value to my dream company.

An applicant who knows how to add value and what to add for a company will definitely have a strong competitive advantage, which will distinguish he or she from the others. This will also help them to leave a good impression on the interviewers. In a word, it can offer great help to get a job.

As for my future career planning, I would like to be an accountant in a certain listed company for the reason that I always have a passion for doing some professional and methodical work. My goal is not to be a simple cashier, but a certified public accountant who will offer valuable advice on the future development of the company through the specialized analyzing of financial condition.
