The drug addiction is something that does not only harm the person who is addicted but also to every person in his surroundings, friends, family everyone. How does a friend or any family member feel when they see a loved one of their switch to this slow poisoning that would lead him/ her to nowhere else than the end of life, can be explained only by those who have experienced it. Only those who experience this can tell what a pain it is to see a loved one falling into this vicious circle of addiction, and than watching them in pain when they go for rehab.
Here I will be sharing the same dreadful pain that I felt with you here. Two years back my elder brother who was 19 than got addicted. We came to know about it late enough and by that time he had indulged himself into drug addiction completely. He was taking multiple of drugs and was quickly destroying his health. The day our parents got to know this we planned to get him admitted to a drug rehabilitation centre. While we were looking out at different rehabilitation centers we discovered that there are different ways of treatment and different programs offered for drug addiction that included gender and age We got him admitted to one of those that we found best for rehabilitation. We kept on visiting him everyday for more than a week as he was kept as inpatient due to excessive addiction.
It was like 10th day of his admittance to rehab centre that we got a call early morning from the rehab centre that my brother ran away sometime at night. That whole situation turned out to be a nightmare for us. We looked out for him everywhere around the rehab centre and in surroundings of our home. We called and checked with each and every friend of him and his all class mates and school mates too. Finally we had to log our complaint with the Police for my brother being lost. Two days later he was found at one of his friend's place who earlier denied his presence to us.
