Motivation Letter

I would love to have the opportunity to advance my career with Engineering management PHD program. I strongly believe in the importance to develop myself constantly to be able to catch up with this dynamic vibrant world. I have exceptional background, education as well as experience which make me the ideal candidate for this PHD program.

I gained MSc.Management for Construction from Coventry University in 2011.  During the course of my study I showed excellent eagerness in my studies. I am always first research and develop myself pushing myself to the edge and extending my limits. I have sensed this enthusiasm at an early stage of my professional career. I have conducted various researcher projects before. I am particularly proud of my final year project as I have worked closely with the relevant authorities in Jordon to raise their health and safety standards to the European level. I graduated Civil Engineering-Structural in 2009 from Jordan University of Science and Technology, Jordan.

Currently, I am working as a project manager for a big construction Company in Jordan. In the past eighteen month, I have learned a lot about myself and about working with people from various cultures. This triggered my intrigue to further research and stimulated my brain further to absorb more knowledge. I have learned how to implement my theoretical knowledge into practise as I am responsible of the overall working conditions and situation for the projects. One vital business aspect have gained is communication, leading people and delivering results while understanding their dilams and removing their obstacles seems to what I love to do.

This triggered to hunger to achieve more and obtain further research, this makes me the perfect candidate for a PHD program.

PhD degree is an exciting interdisciplinary scenario, in which I will have the opportunity to pursue my area of interest as a scientist: to understand the interplay between of what happens at the project site and the art of management.

I am intellectually prepared to participate in PhD program, and I am eager to learn, to contribute and to have my knowledge complemented by that of recognized scientists from different disciplines, who collaborate in this program.
