Power of Vision

There are many kinds of student leaders in my student life so far, but there is only one student leader who has so much effect on me and I really learned my leadership skills from her. Sherry, the leader’s English name, was the president of a student association, which is an association about reading communication, and I was the association’s member then, then I want to say something about one of her most important leadership skills --- a great vision.
First, Sherry showed her great vision by motivating people effectively, she knows the biggest problem of association in the beginning is that members didn’t have energy and confidence to work for it. When I left the association, it has been a quite large and powerful organization, but it was very poor at first. However, when Sherry became the president, she told us what we can do to develop our association and show clearly confidence in the abilities of members. She knew that we all want to make a different for this association, and she appealed to us hearts and minds to accomplish a worthy endeavor.
Second, Sherry has a great vision about the progress of our association. She found some features about our association. For example, we can hold a party about sharing content of several kind of books, including novels, science fictions, history books and so on, and there must be some people who are interested in them but have enough time to complete a whole book, then our party will attract them, and in this way, we can build our association’s brand in the university to attract more new members in the future. This is just one example to show Sherry’s vision, in fact, she always stand up for what is important, creating a clear and positive picture of the future of our association to us. So I can say that Sherry is really the guidance of the association of reading communication, even when she has left, her project of developing still works.
Third, though Sherry is very smart and powerful, she can get the facts, too. In the beginning, she didn’t eager to find subsidize from outside or undertake some large activities. Instead, she spent time knowing the abilities and motivations of the members, analyzing how well the members work together and learning the opportunity and threat
