Television has become common thing in every household around the world. Television is being watched by people of all ages because it offers channels related to different aspects. Children also love watching television and mostly get addicted to it. Children addiction towards television is causing many problems like lack of attention towards studies and impact on health and wellbeing. The purpose of this essay is to focus on useful strategies to protect children from television violence.
First of all, parents should accompany their children while they are watching television. It is a responsibility of the parents to monitor children during the time they are viewing television. This can help parents to identify which program is safe for children to watch. As an outcome, parents will be able to protect their children from the violence of television.
Secondly, parents should guide their children about the hazards of television. Parents should teach their children about the reality of violent programs or movies shown on television that they are scripted and performed for the entertainment and they should not try it at home. As a result, it is unlikely that child get influence by such violent programs or movies.
In conclusion, there are several meaningful strategies to guard children from television violence. Such as, parents should observe children watching behavior to protect them from any potential threat and parents should also guide and teach their children about the reality of violent TV programs and movies. This is the best way to protect children from the potential hazards of television.
