Participation
We have interview 10 participations for this research, and the male and female ratio is 4: 6. The participations are about our age, and some of them are older than us. The participations are our entire friends or friend related people, in-depth interview unlike other research method, find a person who related to our research topic and have long time interview, it is hard to do that with strangers, and participations are feel more confortable to talk to people who they know about their secret. All participations are currently attending college or previously attended college. The interview is based on the participation has been used Adderall in his life, it is meaningless to interview people who have never used. First, we are asking they about some general questions like when they start to use Adderall, how they feel when use the Adderall, why they use it and what context will make them use it. Then we ask their opinion about Adderall, such as “the use of Adderall as almost an advantage since it gives you an upper hand when used for studying and test taking” and “Adderall is similar to cocaine”. We have take notes during the interview, there is only one participation allow us to record the interview. They feel less confortable with interview while recording, and they do not want to people identify them by their voice. All the interviews are transition to documents. The record and documents are kept in secret. We use English letter to named all the record and documents, like interview A, interview B, in order to ensure privacy and security.
Privacy
All the documents are keep in our group’s web box; no one can see they except our group member. We use letter to named very documents, so even group member cannot know whom the other group member interviewed. Furthermore, we will delete all the items after this research project has been done.
