Storytelling

Storytelling is very important in our 21ST century world. Without out, many things wouldn’t be able to be conveyed. Humans use storytelling to accomplish many things, and despite the fact that we live in the information age, human communication wouldn’t be the same without storytelling.

Storytelling is used to recall daily events in our lives. If storytelling didn’t exist, we wouldn’t be able to communicate to our significant others about how we’re doing in life, what is going on in our lives, or significant things that happened in the course of the day. Not being able to communicate these things would result in the daily interactions between humans a lot more boring. Communicating through storytelling can be a form of entertainment and is enjoyable. People enjoy conversating with one another and this occurs in the form of storytelling.

Without storytelling, humans wouldn’t be able to recall past events and share to another how they learned from an experience. We learn from our mistakes and we also share them with others when its relevant. We all know that Dad or person that always shares an experience that happened to them and tries to reflect to you about how it can improve something going on in your life. By communicating with another about past mistakes, we can learn from one another and teach one another as well.

Furthermore, storytelling, is how we share emotions too. It is how we connect to one another and feel close to one another. Even though we live in the information technology age, we still depend on storytelling to communicate to one another about a variety of different things that are essential to communication and interactions with other people in society.
