Scope, Exclusions & Interfaces:
The project scope will be zero cost when building our project, with use of technologies like PHP, HTML & CSS to build up the website. The project will be kept up by our team until we fully complete the product and reach close-down stage. Any further maintenance will be follow up by client's company IT department.
The scope of this website is to allow user to enter, delete, edit item, view available quantity, deduct or add from balance and have a minimum balance to trigger owner for replenishment.
We will not be having item's past purchase history in our database due to limited information from our client.
Outlines Deliverables (Product):
The main components consisted within our website are:
- An address for our website. This address is required for users to login and access the site for managing/monitoring the inventory.
- Link to the company's shared server. This link is to maintain all information in a centralized database stored in the server.
- User able to enters, deletes, edits item, and views, add, or deduct quantity of inventory.
- Automatic send email to warn user when reach minimum balance of inventory.
Review and Reporting:
The project will be reviewed by our team weekly at meeting to ensure progress moves accordingly to plan. Extra meeting will be held when issues occur and obstruct progression of the project. The team will report on the progress to client constantly on every major stages of the project progress to ensure requirements are fulfilled, problems are to be identified and amendments can be informed at early stage by client.
