Unfortunately this small group of two workers was not always present and responsive which led to much downtime and numerous complaints from our customers (users). This in turn ended up impacting the leadership of our manager who had to continuously have to micro-manage that part of the team and mission and often try to work solutions on his own to try to address the shortcomings while also keeping the rest of our server farm operation running smoothly.
After a couple of months, the problem came to a head and decisions had to be made. The manager had approached our government point of contact with a plan of action which not only kicked the subcontractor company off of the contract but also a solution for our own team to manage the servers in question.

His quick adaptability, responsibility, and quick response and management of server resources and personnel proved valuable and reflected positively not just of himself but our whole team.
