Bradbury the author of Fahrenheit 451 imagined a diverse society which people are immersed in. One key detail is about how the society is an emotionally detached. Secondly, hedonism was apparent in the society. Thirdly, the society embraces violence in their lives.
In Fahrenheit, it states that books are illegal because they don't believe that they are helpful and informational in this society. It seems that Montag and Mildred are always at home and don't go anywhere. When they invite their friends over to watch TV they stay there for hours. Although they have sports like baseball and football they don't like playing them. I can resonate to the book, Pedestrian because it has the same idea as Fahrenheit 451. Bradbury, the author of the Pedestrian tries to create an emotional detached society in the story. In the story the TV is the center of the character's lives. The book Pedestrian also connects with Fahrenheit because Clarisse and the character from Pedestrian preferred to be different from society. They don't want children because it's and inconvenience. Clarisse is filled with joy she is antisocial from everybody else in the community. She is a nice character she is lovely to everybody in the community she is joyful. She is nice to everybody she loves everybody she is caring. She is different from everybody else because she is healthier than everybody else because she is the only won that walks. Mildred is hedonistic because she wants to have a good time because she has to take pills and has a good time watching TV because she want another TV for her wall
