We all are members of families and organization knows how to maintain their employees happy in & out of workplace and converts them into business success. Companies that implement family-friendly programs gains in higher employee productivity, recruitment, retention, loyalty, reduced turnover intentions and absenteeism, and higher returns on investment when compared to other firms that have not instituted such programs.

Employees, particularly if they are new parents, may have challenges balancing work and family commitments.

According to article from cbsnews, four major companies experience the benefits of implementing the parental leave policy.

1. Ernst & Young: They offer a range of services for new parents to support childcare and in return company benefits by 84 percent of women returned to work.

2. Microsoft: Employees are asset for their organization and it is important for them to provide valued benefits to retain and attract new talents. They provide opportunity to work from home, flexible schedule and job sharing options that allow them to make their own hours.

3. Aflac: 70 percentage of workforce belongs to women in their organization and keeping their female employee happy is a high priority to retain the female employee. The company provides a variety of flexible work options including varying shifts partially paid job-guaranteed weeks off.

4. Wyeth: Company strategizes to find and retain good employee. The company offers a range of programs and services for new parents, including a company website with information about benefits and leave plans. As a result Only 11 percent of new mothers left the company following leave to have a baby

1. Better Planning: Supervisors can plan in advance to prioritize the work if policies exist and also cross-train employees so that they can take on different shifts and have more flexible schedules
