1.0 SAMSUNG PROFILE

Samsung Electronics Company Ltd is a South Korean giant company and one of the largest electronics producers in the entire world. Samsung Electronics functions in four main dimensions which are namely, the digital media, information and communication, semiconductors and consumer electronic appliances. Samsung Electronics Company Limited produces and sells video and audio equipment, televisions, computers, phones, fax machines, motors and compressors, solar systems, DRAM and SRAM (kovach, 2013) .

Samsung Electronics Company Ltd came into existence on 13th January, 1969. Founded by Lee Byang-Chul. The current CEO of the company is Jong-Kyun Shin (Samsung, 2016). The company was established with the aim of entering the consumer electronics industry. Black and white television was the first electronic to be manufactured by the company.
