Preparing Domain and Group Structure

Domain Structure

The organizational unit is locating in the same location. Large organizations have a three story building such as this organization is described in this diagram. Each Floor is considered an organizational unit (OU). The OU L1 have four different departments which include the executive, a support IT/IS, design, and marketing. The second floor L2 consists of two departments, the manufactory prototype. The First Floors L3 have the Human Resources, Sales and research department. As shown in the domain structure (DS) with subdomains will share the same domain name, there are department under each floor. Human resources will not be share with every department only with the executive department. Security policy will not be compromise; a lot of information is kept in the HR department. The logical way is to build a wall in the first floor and separate their daily operation and data with other department. My experience with HR department the data flow freely with the executive of any organization. In this scenario they combined the HR in the same floor but a breakdown in the tree of the system will allow the HR department to share information with the executives.

Using two trees for the second floor in this case does not mean the HR department is in another organization mean that the information is secure and not compromise. The IT/IS organization still provide support to the HR department.
