Project Evaluation and Control
Our upgrade to Riordan’s network systems is designed to be implemented without downtime to Riordan’s previously existing systems. In order to implement these changes in such a short period of time, we must eliminate any factors that could reduce the effectiveness of our implementation. When reducing these factors, it is important that we focus on our project milestones. These milestones allow us to complete major parts of the project’s success fast, efficient timing. It is important that we establish trust with our partners to ensure the completion of these milestones. Our first of four major milestones is our Proposal Delivery. This will be completely promptly on 11/08/2016. In this proposal, we will outline the project, define the scope of the project, provide a requirements list, compose all necessary financial documents, and deliver them to Riordan. This gives our partner an overall view of the completion of the project and also shows our timelines. The Second milestone of the project is to deliver findings. Once this milestone is completed, our project staff will be have all necessary resources to being building and testing the projects system and network. By delivering this milestone in such an early fashion to Riordan, it allows both partners to make early tweaks to the project without causing major changes to the system. The third and perhaps most important milestone is the Results milestone. This will occur promptly on 10/16/17. The first phase of this milestone is to ship all necessary components to branch locations. Once the locations receive the components, they will be installed and upgrades. At this point, Riordan’s new system is in the hands of its workers. These workers can now work with the system, gain their opinions, and provide feedback about the system. Once this feedback is received, we will begin follow-up and support for the new upgrades. At this point, Riordan brings us to our fourth and final Milestone, Acceptance. This is the final phase of the project. By proving short, satisfying milestones throughout the entire project, it allows us to achieve our goals and a fast, organized, and successful manor.
