Sunica Company Case

To start off we must remember that for this each companies needs will be different and what type of products or information that we might be trying to keep safe and protected. I once again choose to use the Sunica Company that currently has four separate locations that is trying to condense down all information into one area.
1. Physical Entry Controls
For the entry controls into the building I do feel that each location needs to have a security system that is hooked up on all windows and entry door ways that is being monitored 24/7 for both fire and other cases. I don’t feel that a fence is necessary as for this type of location still needs to be inviting to the shopper while making the customer and associates safe and secure. Each door way will have a lock that will secure the building from people that don’t belong at different times. All current Sunica employees will have a smart ID badge that will allow them to both enter and leave the premises and stock rooms that we need to keep unwanted customers out. These badges will allow management at Sunica to track employees that go in and out of the building as well as access to secure areas. Tracking employees’ entry and exit times could be beneficial in case there is internal theft (Merkow & Breithaupt, 2006). Smart Badges will also limit access of non-employees from entering any parts of the building that public is not allowed. For those that may be a visitor or a Vendor they must sign in at the front cashier while wearing a visitor or vendor badge and always being accompanied by a manager of some sort.
2. Security offices rooms and facilities
