While shopping as a normal customer, I will only consider if I like the stuff or not. Because fashion buyers have already analyzed the market, so stuff meets the needs to market is essential.

Defining the brand that buyers are working for, such as Topshop, is necessarily. Topshop was founded in 1964, Jane Shepherdson decided to make Topshop as authoritative top fashion brand in 1999, she gave a sharp defines of her brand, and then, Topshop did it. Nowadays, when people talk about high street fashion brand, Topshop will come out firstly, that is Topshop’s market.

Moreover, Topshop is the icon of British High Street Fashion. Clear contour, better quality, co-operate with famous designers and stars, update stuff every week, and etc. The first factor to consider is that, merchandises belong to Topshop style, and lead the fashion, wild acceptable.

The high street fashion normally faces to mass-market, so price is one element as well. That’s why limited design collections are just a part, for enhancing the leading position. The mass-market’s purchasing power decides the gain. Classical and simple stuff, such as base wear, office high heal shoes, beret caps are considerable. Following the up-to-date fashion, the texture and color may vary. Customers would like to pay for new design, new texture when they up date their closet.

The high street fashion fanaticizes popular judgments of the following dressing, so buyers must predict this, and purchase products suit for the selling season, not now. This prediction may be influenced by Fashion Week and run way, includes the color, the style, the length, whether it is modern or vintage.

To be an expert, information collection is very important, also buyers’ taste and experience leads to a perfect result.
